Part Two: Why yes, I cotton to cotton

Yay, dishcloth cotton! I love this stuff. It behaves itself and will take almost any abuse thrown at it... well, any abuse I've tried so far. Some of this I dyed, some remains in whatever colour it came in. Some days I think I have too much dishcloth cotton; other days, I know it's not possible to have too much. (Feel free to send me yours.)

More invincible yarn! Elizabeth sent me this last May ; it quickly became Mystery Tank #2. I've since tried adding sleeves to MT#2, but it's stalled out past the elbows because... umm... because. Anyway, yarn.

Next is a box of various cotton blends for use in Mystery Tanks and whatever else strikes my fancy. Box #1 includes a Nature Cotton from when I was in... one of them Secret Pal things infesting the internet... Cotton-Ease, some penguin yarn, mystery yarn from a yarn swap box which apparently came from Donna, and yarn I frogged from a thrift shop sweater.

Another box of various cottons. The red in the corner is some French yarn, fairly thin and an interesting texture. Below that is "Cottonella Novita", some Finnish yarn which also has a peculiar texture to it. Both of these were found at the Needle Nest up in Spring, and were so unique I had to have them. Hm, the Pingouin Parasol came from the Needle Nest too. That'll make for an interesting Mystery Tank. The more mundane yarns in the box are Bernat Cotton Tots, one lone yellow skein of Omega Sinfonia, some bits of Dale Stork from a trade with KMJ44, and another ball of mystery yarn which I think also came from Donna.

Now... the little crate of yarns that if left alone would run off to parts unknown and fall behind to places where nobody could reach them again. I don't even know what a few of them are. The Denimstyle lives in this crate too but in its natural state it's not a very dramatic picture.

Finally, crochet cotton. Most is the mundane #10, but I have everywhere from #3 to #80. The smaller threads (#50 - #80) are in the bead box or the little drawers (great yard sale find!); the rest are littered about in no particular order.
